Accreditation
To gain accreditation as an exercise physiologist or sports scientist you are required to have exercise science (full) membership.
Exercise physiology
Applicants for ESSA AEP must submit clinical placement logbooks for all hours completed after 1 January 2008 for each of the following three areas:
- apparently healthy;
- cardiopulmonary/metabolic; and
- musculoskeletal/ neurological.
Logbooks are optional for hours completed before 1 January 2008.
