Falls Prevention for Older Adults with Injury Matters Webinar - Evidence Based Screening and Exercise Strageties
Injury Matters will be hosting a free webinar training on falls prevention. This webinar will give an overview of the latest statistics on falls in Western Australia, give an introduction to the latest evidence-based practice in falls prevention for older adults including relevant screening tools – what they are and when to use them and evidence-based exercise strategies.
Presented by Injury Matters' Maryann Fabling
Maryann Fabling is a AHPRA Registered Physiotherapist, currently working as a Injury Prevention Specialist and Rehabilitation Program Physiotherapist while also providing working allied health education coordination and workshop delivery at Injury Matters since early 2022. She has also held allied health leadership positions where she has set up and led programs to community dwelling older adults with a falls prevention focus across public, private and not for profit sectors. She holds a post graduate qualification in business management and an occupational health qualification.
