Want to learn exercises and cue them in an effective manner? This short course of the original ‘34 exercises’ taught on the Mat by Joseph Pilates. The course will include an in depth understanding of the core and trunk musculature. In addition to this learning 34 Exercises to add to your bank of sessions which can be used in individual sessions but also group based exercises, this is a practical course where you will learn correct instructions and appropriate internal and external cues when instructing these exercise.
Presented by Miss Angeliki Stivactas, BClinExPhys, AEP
After completing her undergraduate degree in 2017, and having completed pilates training, Angeliki began treating individuals with an array of conditions - ranging from musculoskeletal conditions, such as chronic pain; Cancer; Neurological conditions, such as Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease and Stroke; Cardiovascular conditions, including Diabetes, High Blood Pressure; Mental health conditions; Pre and Post Natal health; Paediatric conditions; Weight management and Aged care. Having a passionate love for movement and rehabilitation Angeliki works with individuals following principles of pilates as a start to an array of clients. The aim is to create an environment where exercise is used as a form of medicine that complements every individual’s life. As an exercise physiologist, she is passionate about individualising exercise programs from a holistic perspective.
