Exercise for Chronic Musculoskeletal Pain Podcast

While “Exercise as Medicine” is a prominent theme in the management of many chronic conditions, including chronic pain, exercise prescription can be challenging for clinicians given the lack of specific guidelines to inform practice. For individual clients, routine clinical decisions include choice of exercise modality and dosage, the required level of supervision, pain during exercise, targeting education and exercise to the client’s presentation and grading exercise for clients prone to flare up. This podcast explores key aspects of exercise prescription for people with chronic musculoskeletal pain.

This recording was made from a webinar presented by ESSA on 4 December 2019.
