Exercise Medicine in Cancer Management Podcast

Since Exercise and Sports Science Australia first published its position statement on exercise guidelines for people with cancer in 2009, there has been exponential growth in research evaluating the role of exercise pre-, during and post-cancer treatment. This podcast will highlight the new evidence in support of exercise post-cancer and the strengths and limitations of the wider oncology and exercise evidence base.  The podcast will also provide an overview of the exercise prescription framework outlined in the position statement, and how this can be used to ensure targeted, cancer specific, exercise prescription during and following treatment.
