Healthy Eating, Activity & Lifestyle (HEAL™) Facilitator Training

HEAL™ facilitator training equips graduates with the skills and knowledge to facilitate the Healthy Eating, Activity & Lifestyle program within their allied health business. Facilitators gain skills in preparing for delivery of group-based dietary education sessions, exercise delivery and  in the principles  of self-managed change. Strategies to market and promote the HEAL™ program, develop networks with local stakeholders and adapt the program to suit community needs are also covered in detail.

The HEAL™ program undergoes an annual review of content to ensure its relevance to the participant group. As part of the HEAL™ national roll out the participant and facilitator manuals have undergone extensive review and revision to include the latest evidence based practices in the fields of diet, exercise and self-managed change.
