Diploma of Clinical Pilates (10426NAT)

Breathe Diploma of Clinical Pilates is written and delivered by AEPs specialising in Clinical Pilates, and is ideal for AEPs wanting more skills and confidence working with clinical assessment and delivery of clinical Pilates programs.

The course will give you the in-depth skills and knowledge you’ll need to practice evidence-based clinical Pilates to help rehabilitate clients with injuries using the full range of Pilates equipment, or just a fitball and resistance band. The Diploma course also includes the Breathe Certificate IV in Pilates, which will equip you with comprehensive group teaching skills for both Matwork and Reformer classes.

The Breathe Diploma of Clinical Pilates is Australia’s only government-recognised clinical Pilates qualification. It is also recognized by the Pilates Alliance of Australasia (PAA), and as a graduate you’ll be automatically eligible for full membership of the PAA, giving you access to provider numbers as Pilates practitioner.

You’ll undertake detailed study of advanced functional anatomy, client assessment, biomechanics, teaching skills, flexibility, and training in how to address common psychosocial drivers of pain using Pilates.
