Graduate Certificate in Electrocardiograph (ECG) Interpretation

Benchmark Logo

The distanced-based Graduate Certificate in Electrocardiograph (ECG) Interpretation is essential learning for health professionals working in areas where ECG interpretation is required as part of a patient’s routine and emergency care.

Provided as a distanced-based online course, students can study at home, at their own pace.  Assessments are completed via a state-of-the-art online portal, BenchmarqueIQ – save and continue assessments, edit saved answers or even review work before submitting. Students can also keep up-to-date with real-time assessment progress, course notification and feedback from assessors through a student console.

The course takes students on a journey through understanding components of the ECG waveform; recognising and interpreting cardiac rhythms and interpreting a 12 lead ECG in a way that helps ensure you get the most out of the program. Throughout your study, our program manager will provide support and feedback on your work to also ensure that you completely understand the specific areas being studied.

The Graduate Certificate in ECG Interpretation is designed to enhance the students professional scope of practice, broaden their current work place practice and to create opportunities to move into new areas of clinical practice.

The course is designed to meet the clinical needs of Accredited Exercise Physiologists, Accredited Sports Scientists and Exercise Scientists.

On successful completion of this course, students will receive a Nationally Recognised, Graduate Certificate in ECG Interpretation.
