Pilates Short Course – Small Equipment

This course will add huge variety to your classes. The course covers over 80 exercises ranging from easy rehab-based repertoire to some very challenging advanced exercises to really extend your clients. Compliment your classes, help increase your client retention and receive more referrals! The ball, magic circle and foam roller exercises are also perfect for home exercise prescriptions, pre and post pregnancy clients and your rehabilitation clients.

Presented by Tracey Nicholson, Natalie Murray, Caz Howard & Bruce Hilderbrand:

Tracey Nicholson:Tracey is a Pilates practitioner and Somatic Movement Therapist with extensive experience in education & rehabilitation together with a dance performance background.  She has worked as a Movement Educator for the past 30 years and has a Bachelor’s degree in Education. After completing a Graduate Diploma in Dance–Movement Therapy in 1995 she has worked more specifically in areas of mental health, rehabilitation and special education.  More recently, she has focused on approaches to exercise rehabilitation using the Pilates Method, Hanna Somatics and Gyrokinesis®. 

Natalie Murray: Natalie has 20 years experience as a Pilates Practitioner and instructor, runs her own studio specializing in working with clients who have been injured in the workplace, working with athletes, conducting private and small group Pilates classes and liaising with Allied Health practitioners. Natalie holds a Graduate Certificate in Pilates Method and a Diploma of Sports Injuries.

Caz Howard: Carolyn (Caz) Howard has 14 years experience in the Pilates industry. Caz holds an Advanced Diploma of Professional Pilates Instruction, Diploma in Remedial Massage, Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment and Bachelor of Communications. Caz is a Principal Trainer in the Pilates Method, the highest level of membership from the Pilates Alliance recognising her experience and qualifications in the Pilates Industry.

Bruce Hulderbrand: Bruce’s career expands 20 years as a Pilates Practitioner, Human Movement and Franklin Method practitioner, both overseas and in Australia. Bruce combines his passion for movement, learning and teaching in his own Pilates and Physiotherapy studio. Bruce’s professional interests involves working with elite and high level athletes, especially dancers and footballers and for the past 15 years working alongside Physiotherapists and Exercise Scientists. Bruce holds a B. App. Sci (Human Movement) and is a certificated Franklin Method Movement Educator, holds a Diploma in Pilates and NLP practitioner.

Pre-requisite is the requirement to have completed studies in Exercise Science, Physiotherapy or similar.

Optional assessment for the nationally accredited unit of competency ART13 Teach Pilates Roller and ART18 Teach Pilates Progress and Release. Additional assessment requirements and fee ($150) apply.
