ESSA has recently launched the ESSA for an Active Nation campaign and website (http://activenation.org.au/) highlighting the need to advocate for physical activity for all Australians as well as promoting ESSA’s accredited professionals. Advocacy however requires a multifaceted approach.
This podcast aims to provide ESSA professionals with a toolkit to:
(a) Advocate for their profession
(b) Advocate for their services and businesses
(c) Promote the industry
Presented by Ms Beth Sheehan, AES, AEP, ESSAM
Beth is an AEP and has her masters in International Health. Beth has worked across a wide platform of health services both within Australia and internationally. Beth’s passion is advocating for disability and access to services, particularly the ESSA professionals, within the disability space.
