Depression, Exercise and the AEP Podcast

This professional development will briefly explore the pathophysiology and neurobiology of depression, and then consider the opportunities for exercise specialists to contribute to the multidisciplinary treatment of people with depression. In particular, you will explore some recent research showing that while the exercise prescription guidelines for depression may be similar to those for other chronic illnesses, there is a potential need to individualise exercise based on the core affect hypothesis.

This recording was made from a webinar presented by ESSA on 10 October 2016.
