While Greater Trochanteric Pain Syndrome (GTPS) is common, affecting 10-25% of the general community, it is has become well established that gluteal tendinopathy is an underlying primary pathology. This webinar is designed to provide an overview of the pathophysiology of the condition, patient presentation and how this differs to other lateral hip conditions, and the array of treatments currently being employed in its management, with a focus on exercise and its role in management for these patients.

Presented by Dr Jay Ebert PhD ESSAM
Dr Jay Ebert has been practicing as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist for more than 10 years at the Hollywood Functional Rehabilitation Clinic (HFRC), and is a Director of the clinic. HFRC is a centre specialising in lower limb musculoskeletal injury, orthopaedic surgery and post-operative rehabilitation, while Dr Ebert has a particular clinical and research interest in gluteal pathology. Prior to the onset of his clinical career, Dr Ebert also completed his PhD in the area of post-operative rehabilitation for lower limb surgery. He has undertaken extensive teaching and tutoring in the area of musculoskeletal rehabilitation over the past 10 years, and is currently a Lecturer at the School of Sport Science, Exercise and Health, at the University of Western Australia.
