Note Taking & Consent Podcast

Guild Insurance has many years’ experience in managing and analysing liability claims for many different types of professional groups.  This information is then used to deliver risk messages to assist professionals undertake their work in a way which lowers their risk.

Note taking and consent are two vital processes for best practice.  Guild Insurance’s experience shows that poor note taking and consent can contribute to incidents occurring and therefore complaints being received from clients.  However poor note taking and consent also make it difficult to defend the actions and behaviour of a professional in the event there’s been a complaint.

This session will provide attendees with an understanding of what’s considered best practice in terms of note taking and consent, why these expectations are in place and the implications for not adhering.

The recording is of a webinar presented by ESSA on 28 November 2017.
