Help support Exercise Right Week 2017

SAVE THE DATE: 22 – 28 May 2017

2017 marks our third national awareness campaign and we are looking forward to it being bigger and better than ever!

This year’s campaign centres around ‘Who’s your match? – Getting to know your expert of exercise’

We want to demonstrate to all Australians the importance of seeking the right exercise expert for their requirements, break the mould and challenge stereotypes of who that may be; in turn raising awareness of Accredited Exercise Physiologists, Accredited Exercise Scientists and Accredited Sports Scientists.

We encourage our members to get involved, and to help us help you raise awareness of the importance of your profession and exercise.

The key objectives of Exercise Right week are:

  • To demonstrate the importance of individuals seeking the right exercise expert for their requirements
  • To educate the public on the benefits of exercise for overall health and wellbeing
  • To encourage the public to seek expert advice on exercise
  • To raise awareness of Accredited Exercise Physiologists, Accredited Exercise Scientists and Accredited Sports Scientists’

Some ideas on how you can get involved:

  • Hold an information session, with free assessments at the local shopping centre, schools or workplaces
  • Start an exercise challenge for your clients or within your workplace
  • Hold a free exercise demonstration or exercise class
  • Visit schools, disability & aged care services to show case what AEPs can provide

To promote Exercise Right Week 2017, you can order an Exercise Right Week Member Promo Pack! There will only be 500 of these available.

Each pack will contain a variety of:

  • Posters
  • Balloons
  • Exercise Right branded bunting

Secure yours by emailing marketing@essa.org.au

We’ll keep you updated via newsletters, so keep your eyes peeled for Exercise Right Week updates and let us know how you’re getting involved!
