Exercise Prescription for Parkinson’s Disease Webinar

At the point of diagnosis, people with Parkinson’s are already moving 30% less than their healthy age matched counterparts. This has been shown to lead to higher rates of co-morbidity and acceleration of neurodegeneration. Exercise plays a significant role in managing health, symptom progression and quality of life and the literature providing a compelling argument for the role of exercise in neuroprotection. This presentation will outline the how to get the most benefit from an exercise-based approach using neuroplastic training principles as a foundation.
