The Health and Fitness of Paramedics

The Health and Fitness of Paramedics

Paramedics deliver care in urban, regional and rural Australia, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The context of their work environment may affect their health and fitness. Join Dr Alex MacQuarrie, a paramedic and paramedic researcher as he explores the context of their work and health and implications for you as an exercise professional.

This is a recording of an ESSA webinar presented on 14 September 2020.

Presented by Dr Alex MacQuarrie, B.SC., MBA, PhD, CCP(f), RP

Dr Alex MacQuarrie is a registered paramedic and Senior Lecturer in the Griffith University School of Medicine on the Gold Coast, Queensland.
