What is Exercise Right?

Exercise Right is a public awareness campaign which was developed by ESSA in 2014. Its purpose is to inspire and inform all Australians to move more and to demonstrate the importance of seeking the right exercise expert for their requirements.

How can you get involved?

1. Exercise Right Blog
Our blog is all about educating Australians about the importance of exercise for general health, as well as for the prevention and management of a range of chronic conditions and injuries. Our blogs are all evidence based and written by our members. It’s YOUR chance to share your knowledge and demonstrate WHY someone should seek the advice of a university qualified exercise professional. 

2. Exercise Right Week 
Exercise Right Week runs from the 20th to the 26th of May 2019. It’s our biggest campaign, and is all about promoting the health benefits of physical activity and showing Australians how they can “Exercise Right” for their needs. Exercise Right Week is promoted in the Department of Health’s national events calendar, and continues to gain recognition in the allied health community. 

It’s an opportunity for our members to promote themselves and their profession in the wider community. If you’d like to be a part of Exercise Right week, ESSA provides you with a range of marketing material and Exercise Right “goodies” to promote the week both digitally and through your practice.
