AEP C.A.S.E Conference Oncology

AEP C.A.S.E Conference Oncology

This Oncology Case Conference follows the journey for a common patient presentation; a 45yo woman diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer and identified to have BRCA1 gene mutation. Follow the service journey for a patient about to commence active treatment.
We will discuss considerations not only for exercise during active treatment, but also the role of prehabilitation prior to prophylactic surgeries due to BRCA1 gene mutation. Learn how to develop a treatment timeline in accordance with planned cancer treatment, and enhance clinical outcomes with multidisciplinary care.
