In 2018, Deana was a part of the Active Survivor Program with the Macarthur Cancer Therapy Centre collecting data and working with many cancer patients as well as working in private practice. Deana has experience in NDIS, Medicare Worker's Compensation/CTP Schemes, Medicare, and Athlete Development, working with the South West Academy of Sport with Fit Clinic. Deana firmly believes that EXERCISE IS MEDICINE and is all about getting this message across. Deana has a special interest in musculoskeletal conditions and as well as cancer. Deana one day hopes to specialize in either; exercise as a primary treatment for cancer or chronic pain syndromes, but for now, she wants to build on her knowledge and continue to learn about how she can empower individuals to self-manage their health and take control of their lives.

Samantha Garrido
B. Physiotherapy | Western Sydney University
Sam has worked in the private practice setting since graduating from university. She has developed a passion for human movement and utilising this as a key assessment and treatment tool to address pains, discomforts and musculoskeletal concerns. The private practice environment has provided experience with many different musculoskeletal conditions throughout the life span with a specific interest in woman’s health.
Sam has a passion for sporting injuries, particularly in youth and adolescents. She enjoys not only helping them recover from their injuries, but also implementing preventative and biomechanical programs to prevent future injuries and enhance sporting performance. She has worked as the Physiotherapist for South West Sydney Academy of Sport – Netball program and for the Netball Premier League Franchise, GWS Fury.

Mitchell Finn

He now works with ESSA as the member development office for exercise science as well as a gym manager at a commercial facility where he has continued his passion for getting the most out of groups and teams.
