Let's talk about working with a child who has Autism and an NDIS plan goal of 'keeping up with my peers'.

with Senior Exercise Physiologists's and Director's at Active Ability, Kara Foscholo BExSci, MExPhys and Amanda Semaan BAppSc ExSp Sci, MExPhys

Kara's personal areas of expertise include intellectual disability and neurological conditions (in particular, Multiple Sclerosis) having worked on a research project looking at different types of exercise for adults with intellectual disability, The University of Sydney's FitAbility clinic and Ageing, Disability and Home Care (ADHC) prior to starting Active Ability.

Amanda has experience in hospital, community & NGO settings. Amanda currently works across both the practitioner and education fields as the co-director of Active Ability and an Associate Lecturer at the University of Sydney (Work Integrated Learning). Her personal areas of expertise include mental health, intellectual disability and Aboriginal health.
