AEP Case Conference: Exercise Prescription After a Cardiovascular Event

This session will cover the considerations, clinical indicators and exercise prescription recommendations for patients following a cardiovascular event. Suited to newly practicing Exercise Physiologists, or those who are looking to refresh their cardiovascular exercise prescription, this case conference will discuss exercise delivery, symptom identification and management as well as progression of exercise for recovery.

Elizabeth has over 15 years experience working in cardiac rehabilitation and heart failure services as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist. Her experience is also beyond clinical exercise prescription, with work across multiple research projects and evaluations as a research assistant, and project officer. She has also worked for over 4 years in public health promotion at NSW Ministry of Health and more recently, the National Heart Foundation of Australia as the Senior Advisor, Physical Activity.
