This webinar will provide an overview of renal physiology, chronic kidney disease (CKD) development, and the effects of therapeutic treatment on disease progression and associated co-morbidities and cardiovascular risk factors. There will be a focus on translating the research and guidelines into applied exercise physiology practice. In particular, this webinar will discuss safety considerations for providing exercise rehabilitation for patients with CKD.
Presented by Kassia Beetham PhD
Kassia is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, and is the Course Coordinator of the Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology program at the Brisbane campus, at Australian Catholic University.
