Return To Work 101

Helping SA AEPs Navigate The Scheme

Are you a new graduate? Working with RTWSA still a little daunting and confusing?

RTWSA is a work injury insurance scheme that facilitates and funds an injured-persons journey back to work.

AEPs remain an underutilised provider in the RTWSA scheme, despite the evidence-base for exercise as apart of treatment for pain, mental health and musculoskeletal conditions.

Join Rowan & Megan, two of SA’s most experienced RTWSA AEPs, as we discuss how the scheme works, where EP fits in, and how as a profession we can increase and improve our involvement in helping people who are injured regain their capacity to return to work.

Learn key information on:
• Different referral types and requirements
• Building successful relationships with case managers and referrers
• Report writing - templates, tips and tricks
• How to ensure adherence to the clinical framework

This program is designed to be short & sweet, and will have lots of time for questions at the end. We want to help you feel more confident and comfortable working with the RTWSA scheme.

Presented by Miss Megan Scott, ESSAM, AEP and Mr Rowan Macaulay, ESSAM, AEP
